After giving my, Top 10 Airlines Review. I will now share with you my Top 5 Airline Lounges.
These rankings are based on my own extensive air travel experiences and personal preferences.
Coming from the point of view of an aviation geek and frequent traveller; I am looking at the whole package, including: the lounge access, features of the lounge, overall comfort and feel of the lounge, food and beverage on offer, amenities and level of customer service provided.
I do not receive any benefit/goodwill/commission by compiling this list.
No 5. Qantas First Class Lounge, Sydney
The design is simply amazing in The Qantas First Class Lounge. It has a great natural light balance from the ceiling to floor windows; the lounge boasts a commanding view of the ramp activity (Great for plane spotting!) Not to mention its amazing rock pool, inspired dining and a beautiful spa area.

No 4. Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge, The Pier, Hong Kong
The Pier re-opened in June 2015 after some extensive renovation. The standard has been raised again to an even higher level! It now has a top end hotel lobby feel instead of being just an airline lounge. It offers excellent all day dining, however my favourite feature has to be the "Retreat Area" which consists of many day beds with amazing apron views!

No 3. Lufthansa First Class Terminal, Frankfurt
The Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is a destination all of its own! It is a private terminal for First Class passengers! The terminal offers every detail of an exclusive traveling experience. I have never seen such a well-stocked bar as the one in this lounge. Not to mention that you are taken directly to your plane from the lounge, in a beautiful Mercedes Benz or Porsche Cayenne!

No 2. Qatar Airways Al Safwa First Class Lounge, Doha
Upon entering the lounge, the soaring ceiling immediately takes your breath away...
The lounge’s artwork and minimalist design creates the ambience of that of a modern art museum; this will impress even the most discerning of frequent flyers and travellers alike. There are waterfalls on the walls and an impressive water fountain as the centrepiece of the lounge.
It is extremely spacious, with amazing facilities such as: restaurant style dining, a pay to use elegant spa, hotel style day rooms and a private family area.
There is also a nice collection of Middle East Antiques and fine art paintings on display inside the lounge!

No 1. Air France Salon La Premiere, Paris CDG
The Salon La Premiere provides unrivalled and unmatched exclusivity out of all the First Class Lounges that I have visited. The seamless and hassle free plane to plane transfer, the attentive lounge attendants, the amazing food and a beautiful relaxation area make this lounge also a destination of its own!
The lounge is just the right size, it is not mega huge nor does it feel crowded. The best part though is the dining experience. You are served with exquisite French cuisine created by a Michelin Star Chef and paired with excellent wines. The lobster I had was one of the finest anywhere....
Everything is so well taken care of; the lounge experience starts from the moment you arrive. There could not be a more carefree experience....I cannot wait to go back again!

Best Spa Lounge
Thai Airways Royal First Class Lounge and Spa, Bangkok
While all of the top 5 lounges in my list provide a spa treatment; for the perfect spa treatment before a flight I do not think anyone can look beyond Thai Airways Royal Spa Lounge. First Class Ticket holders receive a full complimentary spa treatment for 60 minutes, whilst Business Class Passengers receive a 30 minute treatment of foot or back massage.
